The SAT is a college entrance exam that most colleges and universities utilise to determine admissions. The College Board devised and administers the SAT, a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test.

There are two sections (3 hour exam) -

• Math 

• Evidence-Based Reading and Writing

Each section of the SAT is scored on a 200 to 800 point scale. Your total SAT score is the sum of your section scores. The highest possible SAT score is 1600.
